Cultural Exchanges
CUEAF promotes Chinese culture in local communities through various events, such as the Indy500 Kids Day, ICCCI Chinese School annual picnic, Carmel-Xiangyang Sister City Mid-autumn Festival, and the Indianapolis Chinese Festival. With support of many volunteers, CUEAF shares Chinese culture through fun games with kids and adults who attended these events.
2017-2019 Indy500 Kids DayEach May
Kids and their parents in Indianapolis had fun at our booth at the Indy500 Kids Day, an event held on downtown Indy’s Monument Circle each May. Kids participated in the Chopsticks Challenge, had their names written in Chinese characters and colored their Chinese zodiac animals (based on their birth year).
